We have taken as much time and effort recruiting and cultivating our consulting team as we have in developing our industry-leading products. Each consultant has a minimum of 10 years in the field, most are licensed psychologists, and all have experience in private and public or non-profit organizations.
Our consultants are all trained to work comfortably with our Leading Fearlessly™ proprietary model and our FULLVIEW Feedback Inventory™. In addition, they each bring other skills sets, training, and experience that creates a unique richness of approach.
Bruce Roselle, PhD, LCP

Founder, Principal
Founder and principal of Roselle Leadership Strategies, Inc., Bruce Roselle has for nearly thirty years been a thought leader in the areas of executive coaching, strategic visioning, psychological assessment for hiring and development, and customized succession planning. He has served companies ranging from high-tech and manufacturing to service firms, as well as nonprofit organizations, public institutions, and churches.
Motivated by a personal desire to see others achieve their greatest possible level of success, Bruce helps them move wholeheartedly into all areas of their lives. He believes that people can and do change, that change can occur quickly, and that developing people doesn’t need to cost a fortune. Having provided breakthrough coaching for hundreds of executives, managers and individuals during his career, Bruce was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Minnesota Career Development Association.
In addition to articles which have been published in journals such as Counseling and Human Development, Executive Excellence, and Career Development Quarterly, Bruce has been quoted in a variety of mainstream media for his views on leadership and workplace issues.
Ben Roselle, MBA, MA, PMP

Business Advisor
With a Master of Business Administration Degree from the Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas, a Masters Degree in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Specialists Degree in Compensation Management, Ben’s areas of expertise include recruitment, assessment for hiring, designing and implementing customized research projects, and new venture management and strategy. Ben has recruited for one of the nation’s largest search firms, has consulted on the design of hiring processes, and has participated in the implementation of assessment projects for small, mid-sized and large organizations.
Ben enjoys driving business strategies through the creation of innovative business models, alignment of management and employee incentives, development of responsible financial directives, deployment of targeted and consistent brand messages, and formation of, and commitment to, long-term corporate mission, vision and values.
Ben is currently a Senior Manager in Enterprise Talent Development at UnitedHealth Group.
Kim M. Bartels, PhD

Kim Bartels works with our clients in the areas of leadership coaching, personnel selection, career development, and change management. She helps people think outside of the box, explore their options, make decisions, and take effective action to obtain their desired results.
Her background and experiences in psychology, education, and business enable Kim to offer a variety of consulting services that take the cross-functional nature of people’s lives and work environments into account. She is particularly interested in serving clients who appreciate the value of having assessment data to inform them when making key decisions.
Kim earned her Ph.D. in Psychology, with a Counseling Psychology specialization, from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Her undergraduate degree in Psychology is from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, where she also completed Minors in Statistics and Mathematics. She taught psychology and career assessment courses at the University of Missouri-Columbia; the University of Utah in Salt Lake City; Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia; and Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Kim has worked as a college professor, staff psychologist, corporate trainer, and management consultant in educational and business settings. Her recent work projects include career coaching with individuals, business communication skills training with teams, and personnel selection, coaching, and development services for corporate and non-profit clients. With a great sense of humor and insightfulness, Kim quickly establishes rapport and engages her clients in a way that adds some lightness and fun to their work together. She balances her professional career with her other life roles, including family member, friend, and home improvement buff.
Dean R DeGroot, MA LP

A business consultant and licensed psychologist, Dean has positively impacted individuals and organizations for nearly 20 years. He has expertise in assessing, creating, and evaluating various aspects of change, as well as providing individuals and organizations with insightful information and perspective to improve the bottom line. Personal improvement, training, and psychological assessment for hiring are areas in which Dean has particularly made a difference.
Experience in various work environments has enriched Dean’s outlook on organizations and their challenges in dealing with transitions. Dean has worked in manufacturing, service, government, healthcare, private, and consulting sectors and experienced various management styles.
An outplacement and career development professional for more than a decade, he has developed a deep level of expertise in change management and personal improvement. Dean has published two journal articles in the UK comparing German and American career practices, and has presented at regional conferences in the areas of career development, leadership development, and use of psychological assessment. Past-President of the Minnesota Career Development Association, in 2003 Dean received the Marty Dockman Merit Award from this organization for his contributions in the field of career development.
Janice Kalin, PHD LP

Janice is an industrial and consulting psychologist whose career spans 25 years and features work in career development, career transitions, assessment for selection and development, executive and mid-managerial coaching, supervision, and teaching. The types of industries she has worked in include consumer products, financial services, retail, healthcare, and telecommunications as well as non-profit work in the nursing care industry and private foundations.
It was during her doctoral studies that Janice was hired to do adjunct work with a management consulting firm and conducted her first mid-managerial and executive assessments for hiring and development. She also provided coaching and team development to her corporate clients.
Her special areas of interest include selection assessment, work/life balance issues, stress and work, women’s multiple role concerns, and women’s advancement in the corporate environment. She has conducted research in these areas and has spoken on these topics at conferences.
Possessing a keen level of discernment that helps her capture the essence of candidates in the selection assessments she conducts, Janice is gifted at quickly building rapport and helping people relax so that she can get a complete picture of who they are.
Cynthia Schultz, MA LP

A licensed psychologist with more than 20 years of experience, Cindy has been a consultant to businesses, founder and manager of a small retail and production business, and expert in the areas of talent management and leadership development.
As a consultant, she is highly skilled at helping organizations select and develop their leaders, and she puts a high value on establishing close, productive relationships with her clients. With a passion for helping individuals and organizations reach their potential, she is also highly effective as an executive coach and trainer, and is particularly skilled at helping people through transitions.
Cindy has the ability to get to the heart of the matter in her psychological assessment, and exhibits a keen discernment for the motivations and attributes of individuals being considered for hiring.
Margie Unger

Marjorie Unger is a coach and trainer who brings nearly 20 years of experience helping people develop their leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. An outstanding group facilitator, she quickly establishes rapport and creates an effective learning environment for both individuals and groups. She loves assisting others to approach their career and life challenges head on, to tap their personal resiliency and promote behaviors and attitudes that lead to increased confidence and success. Her deep listening skills and empathy combine with the ability to motivate others to apply tools and lessons learned and achieve healthy outcomes.
Prior to joining RLSI, Margie worked with Personnel Decisions International as a career transition training consultant, and with the Asset Development Group, a management consulting firm based in Philadelphia, PA, where she developed and facilitated customized training programs and assessment centers for client organizations nationwide.
Marjorie’s background also includes serving as a professional mediator to resolve employment and interpersonal disputes outside of court. Having earned her undergraduate degree with honors in Psychology from Albion College, she is currently completing a graduate degree in the areas of leadership and coaching.
Jim Warner, PhD

For nearly thirty years, Jim Warner has been an innovator and creator of educational and assessment programming. He specializes in customized on-line programs that support human resource hiring, performance management and training functions. Dr. Warner is skilled in listening to the stated and unstated needs of our clients and designing educational programs to meet those needs. He has provided support to a wide range of organizations from start- up to fortune 100 companies and has directed the training and development initiatives of two major world-wide non- profit organizations.
To complement his expertise in writing and program development, Dr. Warner is also an engaging speaker and group facilitator. Jim earned his PhD in Adult Learning and Master of Arts degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Michigan State University.
