Janice
Kalin, PHD
LP
Janice is an industrial and consulting psychologist whose career
spans 25 years and features work in career development, career
transitions, assessment for selection and development, executive
and mid-managerial coaching, supervision, and teaching. The
types of industries she has worked in include consumer products,
financial services, retail, healthcare, and telecommunications
as well as non-profit work in the nursing care industry and private
foundations.
It was during her doctoral studies that Janice was hired to do
adjunct work with a management consulting firm and conducted her
first mid-managerial and executive assessments for hiring and development. She
also provided coaching and team development to her corporate clients.
Her special areas of interest include selection assessment, work/life
balance issues, stress and work, women’s multiple role concerns,
and women’s advancement in the corporate environment. She
has conducted research in these areas and has spoken on these topics
at conferences.
Possessing a keen level of discernment that helps her capture the
essence of candidates in the selection assessments she conducts,
Janice is gifted at quickly building rapport and helping people relax
so that she can get a complete picture of who they are.
